About the Position

Pedros is seeking professional and customer-focused Call Centre Agents to join its team. The role involves managing incoming customer calls, answering queries, providing accurate information about the restaurant, menu, services, and policies, and efficiently capturing and submitting orders to the relevant stores.

This position is ideal for individuals who are confident on the phone, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Menu Knowledge
Candidates must have a solid understanding of the restaurant’s full menu offering. This includes explaining items clearly, helping customers make informed choices, and providing accurate product descriptions.

Order Taking
Agents are required to take delivery and collection orders over the phone. All customer selections, special requests, and instructions must be accurately recorded and communicated to the store.

Order Modifications
Assist customers with changes to existing orders, handle special requests, and ensure all updates are promptly relayed to the appropriate store.

Upselling and Cross-Selling
Identify opportunities to suggest additional menu items or promotions. Provide recommendations that improve the customer’s dining experience while contributing to increased sales revenue.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong phone etiquette
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience handling inbound calls
  • Previous Call Centre or similar customer support experience
