Tiger Brands Sales Representative Position
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Sales Representative at Tiger Brands, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within your portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Tiger Brands products, sales systems, and procedures.
- Building strong business relationships with store management to provide service and value beyond customer expectations.
- Performing in-store planning by tailoring programmes and data-driven sales presentations to meet customer needs, store demographics, and current consumer trends.
- Collaborating with customers to ensure sufficient stock levels for consumer demand.
- Implementing point-of-purchase (POP) drivers according to customer and brand plans and reporting on POP performance.
- Conducting stock counts on every call cycle.
- Ensuring stores comply with promotional space and pricing agreements.
- Maintaining SKUs by category and space in line with trade agreements.
- Communicating plans and managing merchandising resources effectively to drive sales at store level, including working with merchandisers to ensure inventory is fully stocked, rotated, and presentable.
- Properly managing credit and disposal of all returns from stores.
- Gathering intelligence on customer preferences, competitive activity, and pricing.
- Acting as a link between Customer Managers and store management.
- Preparing and presenting deal sheets to buyers in a timely manner.
- Managing all customer documentation and administration, including applications, claims, and payments.
