Position: Shop Assistant / Cashier (P27)

Job Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and offer friendly, professional assistance
- Operate the till: cash, card payments, lay-bys, refunds
- Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and well-organized
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and displaying products
- Help with stock taking and reporting any shortages
- Follow store policies, loss-prevention rules, and safety procedures
- Support customers with product information, sizing, and fitting room assistance
- Work with the team to achieve daily sales targets
Job Requirements
- Grade 10–12 (Matric is preferred for most stores)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends
- High energy, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Retail experience is an advantage, but not always required
- Must be honest, reliable, and willing to assist wherever needed
