Duties and Responsibilities
General Workers may be responsible for:
- Harvesting tomatoes and other produce
- Sorting and packing vegetables
- Cleaning and maintaining farming equipment

- Assisting supervisors with daily farming operations
Security Officers may be responsible for:
- Protecting farm property and equipment
- Monitoring entry and exit points
- Conducting patrols around the farm and warehouses
- Reporting suspicious activities
Salary Expectations
Salaries may vary depending on the position and location. Entry-level farm workers and general workers may earn between R4,500 and R7,000 per month. Security officers may earn according to PSIRA industry rates.
