Programme Overview
The Transnet Work Integrated Learning Trainee Programme offers structured workplace learning to students and graduates who have completed the theoretical component of their studies. Position Purpose

Position Outputs
Task Execution Trainees will assist with specific projects within a department or work stream, perform routine operational tasks under supervision, and support administrative duties such as documentation and reporting.

Research and Analysis The programme includes conducting research, collecting and analysing data, preparing reports and presentations using MS Office tools, and assisting with process improvement initiatives.
Compliance and Safety Trainees are expected to follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while maintaining ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
Qualifications and Experience

Matric certificate S4–S5 Technical qualification Completion of all theoretical coursework in one of the following fields: Electronics Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Industrial Engineering Physical Metallurgy Chemical Engineering
