Volkswagen Group South Africa (VWSA) is inviting unemployed TVET College graduates to apply for the Experiential Trainee Programme for 2026. This programme is aimed at young South Africans who have completed an N6 qualification and require practical workplace experience to obtain a National N Diploma.
This opportunity is available through the Volkswagen Group South Africa Learning Academy – Human Resources, based in Kariega.
About the Experiential Trainee Programme
The Experiential Trainee Programme is a structured workplace-based training opportunity designed for N6 graduates who still need practical exposure to complete their National N Diploma requirements.
Successful applicants will gain hands-on industry experience while working in a professional corporate environment and completing their required logbooks.
Programme Duration
- Programme Length: 18 Months
- Start Date: 01 March 2026
- End Date: 31 August 2027
Trainees will be placed in departments related to their field of study and will receive on-the-job training throughout the programme period.
Fields of Study Accepted (N6)
Applicants must have completed or be completing an N6 qualification in one of the following fields:
- Business Management N6
- Management Assistant N6
- Financial Management N6
- Human Resource Management (HR) N6
- Office Management N6
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Volkswagen Group South Africa TVET Learnerships 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Completed an N6 Certificate within the last three (3) years
- Have official N6 results and academic transcripts
- Still require practical workplace experience to qualify for a National N Diploma
- Be a resident of Kariega or Gqeberha
- Be available to participate for the full 18-month duration
Added Advantage
- A valid Code 08 driver’s licence will be an added advantage
