Value Logistics Learnership 2026 – Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5)

Programme Information
Programme Name: Supply Chain Practitioner Learnership
Qualification: Occupational Certificate – Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5)
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: 02 March 2026
End Date: 28 February 2027
Location: Gauteng
Monthly Stipend: R7 500
The monthly stipend is intended to assist learners with transport and other work-related costs during the programme.
Learnership Structure
The learnership is designed to combine structured learning with practical experience:
Classroom Training
Learners will attend formal classroom-based training for one week each month. This training will focus on theoretical knowledge as well as practical applications relevant to supply chain and logistics operations.
Workplace Experience
For the remainder of the programme, learners will be placed in an operational logistics environment where they will gain hands-on experience, exposure to systems, and an understanding of day-to-day supply chain processes.
Working Hours
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 17:00. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
Assessment and Certification
Learners must complete all required assessments and successfully write the EISA examination at the end of the programme to qualify for the Occupational Certificate in Supply Chain Practitioner.
Recruitment and Selection Process
Applicants who meet the requirements will go through a formal recruitment process, which includes:
A panel-based, face-to-face interview conducted at the relevant regional office
Literacy and numeracy assessments to evaluate basic competency levels
A criminal background check in line with compliance and operational standards
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to participate in the selection process.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be between 21 and 29 years old
Hold a Matric Certificate with a minimum pass rate of 50%
Be an unemployed South African citizen
Be available to commit to the full 12-month programme
Be willing and able to attend training and work in Gauteng
