Overview
The Sales Representative will supervise the performance and maintenance of van sales representatives’ activities to achieve maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organizational plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Gate Meetings before Market daily, focusing on:
- Performance Month-To-Date (MTD)
- Execution
- Discipline KPIs
- Coach, mentor, and motivate Van Sales Representatives
- Provide in-market coaching of Van Sales Representatives
- Ensure a 100% hit rate of outlets within the route
- Make individual in-market visits with customers to address specific issues
- Drive business development and growth of the customer base
- Attend meetings as required
- Formulate and execute effective action plans to drive growth and increase market share
- Pivot strategic directions and align changes
- Conduct regular training sessions with the training team on critical business skills
- Conduct performance reviews
Qualifications
- 3-year Business / Commercial Tertiary qualification or equivalent
- 3 years working experience in a bakery environment, with 1 year in a selling role / selling experience
- Valid driver’s license
