We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join our dynamic team in Durban. We are seeking an energetic and hard-working team player who enjoys learning and taking on challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality auditing of goods at suppliers and processing houses.
- Liaise with suppliers and Garment Technologists regarding quality issues.
- Complete AQL reports to meet Truworths’ high standards.
- Monitor quality issues that arise at suppliers and mentor for improvement.
- Capture data for all audits.
- Manage workload and schedule appointments efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in clothing manufacturing within a factory environment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of quality auditing experience.
- Possess a Code 8 Drivers license.
Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively report quality problems using appropriate methods, including photographic evidence.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong energy and drive.
- Knowledge of AQL standards.
- IT competence with basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Service-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and provide constructive feedback.
