Minimum Requirements
Security Officer
- PSIRA Grade C Registration.
- No criminal record.
- Fluent in English.
Armed Officer
- PSIRA Grade C Registration.
- No criminal record.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid firearm competency certificate.
- Business Purposes endorsement for the relevant firearm.
Reaction Officer
- PSIRA Grade C Registration.
- No criminal record.
- Reaction Officer qualification or certificate.
- Valid firearm competency certificate.
- Business Purposes endorsement for the relevant firearm.
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
- Minimum one year of active driving experience.
- Fluent in English.
Area Supervisor
- PSIRA Grade B Registration.
- No criminal record.
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
- Minimum one year of driving experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Fluent in English.
Control Room Officer
- PSIRA Grade B Registration.
- No criminal record.
- Experience in CCTV monitoring.
- Experience in alarm monitoring.
- Computer literacy.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
Management
- PSIRA Grade A Registration.
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- No criminal record.
- Minimum two years’ management experience within the private security industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Basic knowledge of Labour Relations and Industrial Relations.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Computer literacy.
- Own reliable transport.
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect company, client and public property.
- Monitor and control access to premises.
- Respond to alarms and emergency incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections.
- Prepare accurate incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and PSIRA regulations.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and colleagues.
- Operate security equipment where applicable.
- Promote a safe and secure working environment.
- Carry out duties assigned according to the specific position.
