Estimated Monthly Salaries

Monthly salary packages may differ according to position level, operational site, experience, overtime, and security grading:

• Area Supervisors: R12 000 – R22 000 per month
• Tactical Officers: R10 000 – R18 000 per month
• Grade C Officers: R6 500 – R11 000 per month
• Grade B Officers: R8 000 – R14 000 per month
• Armed Reaction Officers: R10 000 – R20 000 per month

Minimum Requirements

Area Supervisor – Paarden Eiland

• PSiRA Grade A qualification
• Previous supervisory or management experience within the security industry
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of security operational procedures
• Ability to manage teams and site operations
• Computer literacy may serve as an advantage
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• No criminal record

Tactical and Grade C Officers – Secunda

• Valid PSiRA Grade C registration
• Tactical security experience may serve as an advantage
• Physically fit and medically capable of performing operational duties
• Ability to work shifts and extended hours
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• No criminal record

Grade B and Armed Reaction Officers – Sasol Sites

• Valid PSiRA Grade B qualification
• Armed reaction certification where applicable
• Firearm competency certificates may be required
• Experience within high-risk security environments may serve as an advantage
• Ability to respond to emergency incidents
• Excellent communication and operational skills
• Valid driver’s license may serve as an advantage
• No criminal record

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high security standards and ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and operational facilities.

• Monitoring and securing operational premises
• Conducting patrol duties and access control procedures
• Responding to security incidents and emergencies
• Completing incident reports and operational documentation
• Supervising security teams and operational activities
• Ensuring compliance with security regulations and company procedures
• Supporting risk management and crime prevention initiatives
• Maintaining professional conduct and discipline at all times
• Operating security equipment and communication systems
• Assisting with tactical response operations where required
